Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Table

God’s desire for humanity, as expressed by Jesus, is for us to live together in community…caring for each other… having love and compassion for all…sharing justly of everything that this earth, God’s creation…God’s household…provides. We are to live together in peace though justice.

It is as simple and as complicated as that.

This is what we believe at Grace United Church, your donations will support our Ministry.

There are many ways to donate to Grace:

Pre-authorized Remittance (PAR):  We encourage this method of giving for all regular givers. The program is administered by the United Church of Canada. It allows you to have your bank account debited automatically on the 20th of each month. Credit card withdrawal is also possible but there is a  a 2.5% charge to the church.  Please download this form and either mail it to Grace United Church or leave it at the church office. Please do not fax or e-mail these forms at this time for security reasons.  You can learn more about PAR in the United Church of Canada website.

In Person:  You may donate by cash or cheque either in the offering plate during the Sunday morning service or directly to the office.  Offering envelopes are available on request.

Visitors: Offering envelopes are available in the pews. If you include your name and address a charitable tax receipt will be issued.  Please indicate if this in memory of a special person. Thank you so much for your generosity.

By Mail: Please mail all cheques to

Memorial Donations:   If your loved one considered Grace their community of faith, you might want to invite people to remember them with a donation to the Grace Memorial Fund. This fund is used for special projects around the church.  A charitable tax receipt will be issued for each donation.    Grace office staff will be happy to assist you with these arrangements.

Legacy Giving: There are many ways to leave a legacy at Grace. You can donate stocks to Grace United Church and receive a significant tax credit.  You can also donate a life insurance policy or take out an annuity from the United Church which pays you an income.  One of our trustees will be happy to discuss with you the different ways that you can ensure that your legacy will enhance the ministry of Grace.  All contributions and legacy gifts are administered under the strict regulations and guidelines of the United Church of Canada.

Please contact our office and we would be happy to put you in contact with the Financial Gift Adviser of the United Church of Canada and/or one of the Trustees of Grace United Church. Download our pamphlet “Legacy of Grace” and learn more!  Grace United Church Legacy Gifts
